Borders are much more than mere dividing lines between nations: they are large areas that are shaped by political exceptionality and vulgar economic interests. In these places, the accounts of migrant people and communities speak of a war with thousands of victims on only one side.
\nSpanning tens of thousands of kilometres, the western Euro-African border is particularly complex.
