A young Senegalese woman, she died on the Strait of Gibraltar crossing at the young age of 21. A hairdresser, she had moved to Morocco to save money and undergo an operation that would allow her to become a mother. She was afraid of dying in the operating room in her native country, hence her need to reach Spain.
